IN SUCCESS LANGUAGE, FAILURE MEANS YOU ARE ALMOST THERE!

IN SUCCESS LANGUAGE, FAILURE MEANS YOU ARE ALMOST THERE!
I have to admit the title of my section this week is OUTSTANDING! We all know as we are progressing towards our personal goals, dreams and aspirations that we will fail repeatedly, and then all of a sudden we achieve our ultimate outcome and attain our WHY in LIFE! As I state on my story page, “Each failure is a stepping stone to Success, which in turn will become a very long and lovely stone walkway into the castle of your DREAMS!” You must truly internalize the need to fail in life.
Most people fail more between the ages of 16-25 and then they don’t fail ever again in life, which means they never SUCCEED! You see, at the age 25 the majority of people lose their steam and decide to live a life instead of designing a lifestyle for themselves and their families. I am very proud to say that I have failed numerous times in my life. Just ask my parents, they will tell you …”but John you went to college just get a JOB!” As entrepreneurs, we all know that we never have jobs because whatever we do has our life-print on it, which represents our potential. The following is a list of people that we all know who failed before they succeeded. I cannot emphasize enough that you need to continue to try over and over until you succeed and realize that, as I’ve said before, “Each failure is a stepping stone to Success, which in turn will become a very long and lovely stone walkway into the castle of your DREAMS!”
FAILURES…BUT NOT QUITE
–After Fred Astaire’s first screen test, a 1933 memo from the MGM testing director said, “Can’t act. Slightly bald. Can dance a little.” Astaire kept that memo over the fireplace in his Beverly Hills home.
–A relatively unsuccessful marketer of restaurant equipment, he didn’t sell his first hamburger until age 52. At a time when many people prepare for retirement, Ray Kroc built McDonald’s from a handful of hamburger stands into the world’s largest food chain.
–When his older brother was killed during WWII, he first withdrew into a shell. Then he began to listen to the radio to ease his pain. Soon he was dreaming about hosting his own radio show. That led Dick Clark to start American Bandstand.
–Walt Disney was fired by a newspaper for lacking ideas. He also went bankrupt several times before he built Disneyland.
The question that I have for you now is, “Do you realize how you must be proud of your failures because they really are successes?” Many of my workshop attendees have heard me say “…experience is what you receive when you do not achieve what you desire.” I suggest to print this out and put it on your desk where you can read this article every day and remind yourself about Fred Astaire, Ray Kroc, Dick Clark, and Walt Disney and say to yourself, “What is MY story going to be?” You need to fail in order to ultimately succeed in LIFE! After all, in success language, failure means you are almost there!
Your Best Friend – The Phone
Posted by John Di Lemme on Dec 29, 2009
We all know that you can’t earn your commission until you make the sale. Furthermore, you can’t make the sale without the order, and you can’t write the order until you have a product presentation scheduled. Finally, you can’t have a presentation until you make the infamous CALL to schedule the appointment.
As you see, it all traces back to the initial phone call. In order to fulfill your WHY and achieve all of your ultimate outcomes in life, you must be UNSTOPPABLE ON THE PHONE! Right now you need to ask yourself a very important question…. “Am I the best I possibly could be on the phone?” Your answer will determine your results! You must develop a friendship with your phone. I know it sounds crazy, but is true. When your phone becomes your best friend, you look forward to picking up the phone! Then, and only then, your future will change for the better.
One of the major keys is to practice your phone call script consistently in order to make it smooth to the point of your sounding like a Hollywood actor. Yes, I do mean you need to have a script and become fluent with this script. Many people say, “But I do not want to use a script because when I read a script a potential client/customer says that they can tell I am reading.” Guess what…If this is the case, then you have not practiced enough!
The best way to explain the effectiveness of a perfect script is to think of your favorite actor/actress and all of their award-winning performances. These performances that you love are SCRIPTED! Re-read that and internalize what that means. The Award winners are all script performers. You must make the mental decision right now to become an Emmy Award winner at your script. I speak about this on my CDs & DVDs along with many other concepts/ideas for making calls that will explode your business.
In summary, you must completely look forward to picking up the phone and design your future through the results you experience by making the most effective phone call possible for your business.
Are You the Biggest Loser Around?
Posted by John Di Lemme on Oct 16, 2009
I am a Loser, and you will learn from this message why you need to be a Loser too. In all seriousness, let me share with you why I am writing this. Over the past few years, millions of people have watched the evolution of a winner in the reality show called “The Biggest Loser”. This particular show involves severely overweight and obese contestants that have simply lost all control of their weight. The winner that ultimately lost the most body weight and decreased his overall body fat is awarded $250,000 not to mention the second chance to live a healthy life.
I want to correlate this show to business, life and to personal success. You need to be the Biggest Loser when it comes to changing your associations with others. One of the contestants on the show was severely obese to the point that others would look at her and say to themselves, “She will never be healthy…she’s past the point of no return…she’s really disgusting.” But that person made the decision to change her life and become the ultimate winner…The Biggest Loser. I want to share with you 5 secrets on how you to can become The Biggest Loser in your life and business.
Secret #1 – Realization
You must realize where you are today. The winner of the Biggest Loser realized that she was overweight and would ultimately die from her decisions to allow herself to become so unhealthy. She realized that enough is enough, and she made a change. I challenge you today to take a look at where you are in your business and/or your life. Have you had enough? If so, then you need to “lose” all your negative habits especially if they are killing you and your dream of success. It’s time for a change!
Secret #2 – Accountability
As soon as the contestants realized where they were in their lives, they became accountable to their teammates (aka Mastermind Team) in order to become the Biggest Loser and drop massive amounts of weight. These individuals look like completely different people. This is similar to your progression towards your ultimate Why in life. People start saying that you are changing…you act different, you sound different, you listen to different CDs, you read different books and you even look different. You are on a success journey and accountable to Champions on your Mastermind Team. Where are you in your life? Are others noticing these differences about you? If not, it’s time to drop the negative associations and habits just like those contestants dropped that weight.
Secret #3 – Extra Step
The contestants pushed themselves to go the extra mile by participating in extra workouts, taking advantage of the extra associations with others that have goals and dreams like them,
and pushing themselves that extra step not to take part in indulgences that would ruin their overall goal of losing weight and becoming The Biggest Loser. Have you taken that extra step by attending extra events/seminars, making extra calls, investing in extra CDs and associating with extraordinary people? This extra step will push you to the next level and give you that edge that others don’t have. Remember, the only difference between ordinary and extraordinary, is that little bit of extra.
Secret #4 – Rewards
Reward yourself as you begin to change and go to the next level. When you go to an extra event/seminar, save the ticket, your name tag, etc. and put them in your dream journal or better yet on your dream board. This is a way of saying “I did it! I went that extra step and now this is my reward!” Be excited about that extra step and reward yourself with praise, affirmations and self-acknowledgment.
Secret #5 – Personal Coach
Every single person on that show had a Personal Coach. Are you happy where you are in your life? Do you need to lose weight, lose debt, gain health, gain wealth, lose negative associations, gain a Mastermind Team, gain prosperity, lose failure and/or gain success? A major secret to achieve your ultimate why is the importance a Personal Coach. The first thing that The Biggest Loser did when she won the $250,000 was hug her Personal Coach. Why? Because her Personal Coach was there each and every step of the way. I know when I personally coach Champions and receive their emails, calls and testimonials saying that they have gone to the next level in their lives, I experience great excitement in their accomplishments. That’s what happens when you become a Champion…that’s what life is all about! You can’t do it alone!
In order to become a Winner in life, you must first become a Loser. I suggest that you read this article another 5 times and journal about each secret. Analyze where you are right now, where you want to go, who you must associate with to get there and the habits that you must lose to do it.
For those of you who want to go to the next level, I would love to be your Personal Coach and I only coach Champions who truly believe that they are worthy to receive success and go to the next level in life. If you are ready to go to the next level, then email Team@ChampionsLiveFree.com and let us know why you should qualify to be my next coaching student.

What Can You Learn From Geese?
Posted by John Di Lemme on Oct 14, 2009
The Geese are starting to Fly…
Are You?…
What Can You Learn From Geese?
There’s power in a gaggle of geese that you just don’t find in a lone goose
For example…
Fact…
As each goose flaps its wings, it creates lift for the bird following. By flying in a “V” formation, the whole flock adds 71% greater flying range than if one goose flew alone
Lesson…
Those who share a common direction and sense of unity can get where they’re going quicker and easier because they’re drawing strength from each other
Fact…
When a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of trying to fly alone, and quickly gets back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird in front
Lesson…
Stay in formation with those who are headed where we want to go; be willing to accept their help and give help to others
Fact…
When the lead goose gets tired, it rotates back into the formation and another goose flies at the point position
Lesson…
It pays to take turns doing the hard tasks and sharing leadership. People, like geese, are interdependent on each other
Fact…
Geese look after each other. If one gets sick or wounded, two geese follow it down to protect and feed it until it either recovers or dies
Lesson…
Stand by each other in difficult times as well in good times
And when you hear those geese honking…
they’re offering encouragement to their leader, something everyone – not just leaders – needs!
With That Said…
Fire It Up Like a Champion Goose!

Posted by John Di Lemme on Oct 1, 2009
A Winner’s Mindset vs. a Loser’s Mindset
Where is your Mindset? Even better yet, where are the people’s mindset that are on your Mastermind (Olympic) Team ? Let me explain by it’s so important to have a Winner’s Mindset versus a Loser’s Mindset…
W – The Winner is always part of the Answer;
I – The loser is always part of the Problem;
N – The Winner always has a Program;
N – The Loser always has an Excuse;
E – The Winner says, “Let me do it for you;”
E – The Loser says, “That’s not my job;”
R – The Winner sees an answer for every Problem;
VS. – The Loser sees a Problem for every Answer;
L – The Winner sees a green near every sand trap;
O – The Loser sees two or three sand traps near every green;
S – The Winner says, “It may be difficult, but it’s possible;
E – The Loser says, “It may be possible, but it’s too difficult”
R – Listen up and Listen Real Good >> BE A WINNER
Now you truly need to make a conscious decision to be a Winner and always maintain a Winner’s Mindset in order to win the Gold Medal in YOUR life!
